New Era Custom Design and Cabinet Works Inc. was founded in 1979, by current President John Gage. For the past 29 years, New Era has been providing clients with high quality architectural millwork. Over the decades, New Era has worked hard to expand from a small 2 man shop to presently a 65 personnel operation. Our market share has expanded from the Maryland, DC, and Virginia area to include a national presence from coast to coast and now internationally as well.

New Era Custom Design continues to position ourselves as technological leaders in the wood working industry. Recent capital investments have improved our productivity. By integrating our engineering department, all our CNC machining centers are using the latest in computer aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
